Dominique Caesar, AASW

Dominique Caesar (they/them) is a non-binary, trans, autistic and queer social worker with eight years of experience working across community, clinical and systemic settings. They combine direct counselling with advocacy and mentoring to support people whose lives are shaped by complex systems and identities. Dominique is known for a warm, grounded and non-judgemental manner and brings a pragmatic, detail-oriented approach to helping people live authentically on their own terms.

They work with adults and young people seeking support that aligns with their values and lived experience. Dominique specialises in telehealth support that draws on neuroaffirming care, peer connection and a focus on systemic justice, aiming to centre each person’s strengths rather than pathologise their experience. They holds AASW and integrates evidence-based therapeutic techniques with practical skills for navigating services and relationships.

Alongside counselling, Dominique has extensive advocacy experience, including supporting neurodivergent young people to build peer networks, representing tenants in housing disputes, advocating with NDIS participants to reclaim choice and control, and mentoring emerging social workers and peer workers to centre lived experience in practice. They approach therapy as collaboration rather than treatment, helping clients unpack systemic barriers, recover from burnout and cultivate more authentic ways of being.
